Greenwich's gas leaf blower ban will start the Friday of Memorial Day weekend, impacting commercial landscapers, residents and both Parks & Rec and DPW. On Thursday, DPW commissioner Jim Michel and Parks and Rec director Joe Siciliano issued a joint statement with plans to respond to the lack of town funding to purchase electric leaf blower equipment for their departments.
