
Starting on July 11, a small bridge located on Brookridge Drive will be closed for approximately four months.
The project, officially called the Brookridge Drive Bridge Superstructure Replacement project, is scheduled to be completed by December of this year.
The road will be closed at the bridge site from July 11 to an unknown day in November.
Alfred Benesch & Company (based in Glastonbury, CT) was given a contract of $256,306.00 to complete this project.
The following detour will be established:
Traffic wanting to travel southbound on Brookridge Drive shall utilize Fairfield Road to Stanwich Road to Route 1.
Traffic wanting to travel northbound on Brookridge Drive shall utilize Route 1 to Stanwich Road to Fairfield Road.
